One small sugestion to improve the actual holder. drill a couple of drain holes in the "cover" so any water that does get in there can drain out.

Would you be able to make them so the top part of the mount doesn't have that curve in it? I really don't like how you can just see part of the plate that says firebolt. I'd like it to go straight across like this:

Well as far as the droid box goes I wasn't planning on making those. The pictures below are of a mount I just did for a customer. It works really well and I am actually thinking about getting one for myself. Ram mounts sells them and all you would buy from me is the plate.
This customer actually had the Ram mount shipped to me and I got everything setup and ready to use and shipped it to him.
