I thing a pulley cover would be cool but it would have to be vacuum formed. I don't have the equipment to do that

I'm still in the process of trying to make a vacuum-formed Lightning undertail. So far its been pretty frustrating with failed molds using foam and fiberglass, but I'm still fighting through. I checked out the pulley cover as a potential vacuum-form candidate, but unfortunately the bolt hole locations are way too deep to sucessfully vacuum-form. If the undertail ends up being a success *fingers-crossed* I might see if I can do the pulley cover using spacers at the bolt locations.

I already have this timing cover fitted.

I was looking at the idea of cutting a hole in the original front pulley cover and fitting the billet circle pictured below with a clear window to show the pulley behind. But now I have seen these covers I am going to order one and fit this to the pulley cover instead.
What do you think xb12tiger or anyone else?

The circle has BUELL all the way round it. Sorry no close up photo.

xb12tiger, heres a pic of the billet circle. It is actually part of my tax disc holder and comes with a clear centre and billet holder as pictured.
Got it off Ebay UK, search huntercnc username or shop.
Have you got photos of your cover installed yet?
