So this is what I see when I go to open up Monda morning. Fortunately, they didn't steal a lot. The part of this that makes it worse is that it had to have been someone that has been in my store and also knows a little bit about motorcycles. They picked out only my most expensive Shoei helmets. They also grabbed one Bell and one Scorpion helmet off the shelf.

Had an alarm system which probably kept them from taking more. I'm beefing up the security with a dvr camera system.

Dang man! Thieves are the worst!!! Sorry you started off the week with such a problem

That sucks man, if you need any advice on camera systems let me know. I looked into quite a few after my bike was taken.

Hey bro, you should look into these

Foscam fi8910W IP Cameras They also have outdoor ones, these are high def and only $85 a pop, I did a lot of research before I bought mine and these are the best I have found, the high def in night vision is amazing too. Dont be tempted to buy the knock offs, they have cheaper Chinese clones of these but the firmware on them is the worst and you will be ready to slam your head through a wall setting them up, spend the extra $15 on these and you wont be disappointed

You can set these puppies up on your wifi network and you can control the pan and tilt remotely from your phone and set them to record on motion detection and record straight to your computer in a compressed H.264 format. You can also set where you want them to oscillate from any points or set multiple point path. I have one watching over my bike. Piece of mind is worth every penny. PM me if any of you guys pick them up and I will give you my number and I can walk you through the setup

I couldnt imagine having a business like that WITHOUT a full camera setup besides the alarm. Im no expert on surveilance systems, But i know a guy who sets them up and is very good. He can set it up so if you have a smart phone, it pages you if the motion detectors sense something,. you dial # 65 or something, and your smart phone connects to your security system and you can view any of the cameras over the phone..

Wouldnt it be awesome to be able to catch them in the act?

Around here,, a nice old lady made the news, fed up with crime including tweaker metal thieves who stole bronze statues out of her yard in broad daylight, she gave up on the Police, is getting her Concealed Handgun license, Bought a gun, and started a neighbor hood group called the "GLOCK BLOCK, We dont dial 911" and a picture of a Glock handgun. I love it.

Start looking out for riders with new helmets around that match yours! Then question them and their friends.

The good news it that the po po are hot on the theives' trail. They know who it was and think they'll have him in custody in a couple days. They were able to retrieve 2 of my helmets from local pawn shops.

Apparently, a couple other shops had helmets stolen from them.

Now all I have to worry about at the gorilla is that damn auto parts company in California suing me over the use of Gorilla in my name... I even decided that it wasn't worth the trouble to fight them over it and offered to change my name. They are STILL pursuing money from me. ...Because obviously my use of gorilla has damaged their well known brand, goodwill, and reputation as they sell Gorilla branded Lug nuts.

We should all email them and tell them that because of their ruthless business tactics and uncalled for greed that we as customers will never buy from them if they continue down this path of trying to bully small companies out of their cash.

Ha! Thanks for the support guys! Being as sue happy as they are I would be careful.
