Dangerously Dim brake light...

Hay folks,

I've got an '04 12R and as the title implies, my brake light (running and braking light levels) is very hard to see in daylight, only a couple yards away. I removed the brake light lense and polished it, in addition, I replaced the multi LED (old style) bulb with a multi-faceted, chip-type LED bulb and there is very little difference.

Anyone have some advice on this topic? Thanks for your time.

no it is much much brighter. the Lightning is being rebuilt now.
