Has anyone been following the AMA Pro Races? not sure how fanatics we have out there but I Love watching the pros race motorcycles and I see that Danny who races the 1125R is currently tied for first in the standings. Props to Buell [up].

So fun to watch him

Yea Ive missed the last race but cant wait to catch the next. I'm very Excited for Buell and think we'll finally start to get more respect in the world of sport bikes. you may also wanna catch the world super bike races comming back in sept. Ben Spies from Texas has a High Chance of taking the lead and winning as a Rookie... truly amazing Riding [up]

Danny Eslick is killing it on the Buell. I love when he threw up the uncontrollable wheelie after passing, I believe it was hacking going into the second to last corner and then came out of the last corner and wheelie down the straight and through the finish line.

I loved watching him go from 4th to 1st all within a half lap a couple races just pushing hard I to the corners and out manuvering the other guys. It goes to show how good of a rider he is.

Thank god for Tivo/DVR, I have been watching entirely too much racing - MotoGP, World Superbike and AMA Daytona Sportbike and Superbike. Eslick and Spies are both sick riders. Eslick started that last race in 10th and still won with that ridiculous wheelie to the finish line. AMA's last race of the season is at the new track in New Jersey - who's coming with me?

that wheelie was too serious... lol I'll mess around and go try that when I get home n hurt myself. I'd love to demand the most from my bikes performance and do the things the racers do. so bad I dream about it lol

Sure thing, I may be able to catch the races sat and sun, its really close to Roar at the Shore Bike week in Wild Wood, gotta make sure my bike is prepared for that trip. [up]

1SexyBuell.... I know what your saying... to be able to push the bike as hard as it was designed to.... redline every gear... squeeze the life out of the brakes ... and ride to the edge of the tire...
[up]

lol took the words right out of my mouth meetch [up] has to be a great feeling to be that confident and skilled with such powerful machines.

I still don't understand why the 1125 is allowed in the Daytona class racing against 600cc I4s. Sure I get that they allow more displacement because it has half the cylinders, but that's close to twice the size! Why can a Duc 1098 with two cylinders beat 1000cc I4s and we're supposed to get excited about beating 600s? Seems like Buells playing from the red tees while everyone else is at the blues - unless someone can explain to me how it's fair, it will just be an empty victory to me.

Shifty;
As much as I hate to say it, I do agree with you a bit. I would also LOVE to see how the 1125 would hold up against the litre bikes.

On the other hand though, just the fact that there is an American bike running in the AMA, and making a name for Buell is absolutely awesome!
