Small update in regards to the exhaust & tuning for what I build. The RT-XB-1 & 2 will have a pre-programmed ecm available next week for 2008-2010 model year XB12's. I've spent the last month or so doing tuning with IDSPD via logs and road/race tuning. No dyno runs on it, but it should be making an easy 95-98+ hp to the ground.
I'll be working on a full xb system again over the next couple of weeks for a race system as well. Yes, I am still here and still building stuff. :)

YAY Dean! Sure I've posted this before, but... For any new guys his system is the way to go!! Great pieces, great power gains, great guy to work with too. Can't wait until i talk the wife into allowing a 1125 or 1190 in the shed so I can buy another pipe from Mr.Adams!

Well, it only made 90/90 hp/tq. I went with a specific air/fuel ratio and road tuned it. Stock xb 12 with 14k miles on it. Pulls hard everywhere, likes to loft the front end on occasion, guess that's how Uly's are when they run right, even with the suspension set kinda soft.

Side note, today's latest weld turned out ok. Yes, I'm still building stuff.

Last weekend's work. Similar to a Beson exhaust as far as dimensions go (length and sizes) although it's slightly different. Not sure what it will make on a stock motor xb 12, but on a built 1169 motor I've heard 115+ hp and 90+ ft/lbs isn't out of the question.

Dean, whats the full xb system gonna cost?

The Beson system was $1300+ when Tom made them 10 years ago, without the ecm or any tuning. I also found out that there's less than 100 of them in existence. I know one guy that has 3 of them and I have one here. Mine is a close replica, so it should (in theory) perform the same.

I'm not sure how much I'll be selling them for yet. The standard replacement header + exhaust was $1100 when I was making a lot of them, polishing is extra. I'm into this one for a full week already and it's not finished, although once I have fixtures made, it might go a little faster.

Does this exhaust have motorcycle jack points?

No, it does not. It's designed/built as a race use item, most guys will not have kickstands on the bike anyway, so rear wheel stands would be required anyway. That said, I'll be running one like this on my 2009 Uly for tuning purposes.

Super cool. Love those clean welds. As a hobby welder I appreciate them. Your good at what you do. 👍🇺🇸

Well, it's been a year since I posted here in this thread. Still here, still building stuff. Stuff is on sale this weekend, 10% off most stuff. BF2018 is the code. I'm having another run of crank lock tools made, skid plates are in stock and ready for delivery (5 left right now) and it's a relatively short wait time on having an exhaust built.

Running a presale, 4th of July, 2020. Code is "7-4-2020" and will get you a 10% discount a couple of things. Skid plates are not in stock yet, but will be done very soon (possibly by the 4th of July, just waiting on powder coating at this point)

Not as active as I used to be, but I'm still here and building on occasion. This one went out Monday night.

If you were wondering, yes, I had a bit of a rough time in 2020 but I'm still here.
