I am now offering a turn-around service to have _your_ ecm reprogrammed to match my exhaust systems for both XB 9's and 12's. Order an exhaust and the tune package, I'll notify you when you need to send in your ecm. Figure you'll be without the ecm for 1-2 weeks tops. Both will get shipped back, ready to install. I am very interested in the RT-1 for my 2009 xb9sx but concerned about tuning since none of my local shops are willing to touch the ecm. I noticed There used to be a tuning option available on Dean Adams site but I do not see it any more. Is the eeprom still available or are we SOL since xopti took down his site? Thanks in advance!

I have one of deans RT-1 ,great pipe, I am using a ecm from EBR , Which I think is tuned for a D&D not sure, which is some what similar , Runs well with minimal deceleration popping, just until EBR does a tune for his pipe which is on there list to do. I am sure Dean can and will do a better job of explaining to you than I did,

I placed an order a month ago for a D&D from ebay and got a message yesterday stating that it would be another 3-6 weeks before shipment! I couldn't stand waiting another month or more for it, so I cancelled the order and immediately went over to Dean's site and placed an order. If I have to wait another 3-6 weeks for anything, I want the best. I had read good and bad things about the D&D unit, but I have never read a bad word about Dean's systems. I also really like that he uses US steel for his product, I work for a small appliance shop and we push US built product over all others. Looking forward to this big time!!!

Small update in regards to the exhaust & tuning for what I build. The RT-XB-1 & 2 will have a pre-programmed ecm available next week for 2008-2010 model year XB12's. I've spent the last month or so doing tuning with IDSPD via logs and road/race tuning. No dyno runs on it, but it should be making an easy 95-98+ hp to the ground.
I'll be working on a full xb system again over the next couple of weeks for a race system as well. Yes, I am still here and still building stuff.

YAY Dean! Sure I've posted this before, but... For any new guys his system is the way to go!! Great pieces, great power gains, great guy to work with too. Can't wait until i talk the wife into allowing a 1125 or 1190 in the shed so I can buy another pipe from Mr.Adams!

Well, it only made 90/90 hp/tq. I went with a specific air/fuel ratio and road tuned it. Stock xb 12 with 14k miles on it. Pulls hard everywhere, likes to loft the front end on occasion, guess that's how Uly's are when they run right, even with the suspension set kinda soft.

Side note, today's latest weld turned out ok. Yes, I'm still building stuff.



Last weekend's work. Similar to a Beson exhaust as far as dimensions go (length and sizes) although it's slightly different. Not sure what it will make on a stock motor xb 12, but on a built 1169 motor I've heard 115+ hp and 90+ ft/lbs isn't out of the question.
