He's not big on the Street Triples, personally they sound a bit soft in my opinion as well...and had no idea MV was bringing out a new bike. Are they replacing the Brutale? Let's hope they put those organ exhausts on it!

My old speed four was comparable to my xb9, as far as power went. The front wheel sure came up easier, especially the faster you went. I can only assume the new 675cc triple is much better than my old 600 I4. It would be soft compared to other 1000cc naked bikes, but that's obvious considering the displacement difference.

MV isn't replacing the Brutale. The new bikes are going to be 600s, so just smaller versions of the current bikes. If your friend isn't liking the Street triple he'll probably feel the same way about the MV.
