That's great news! Hit me up when you are ready to ride [up]

As you can see it's kinda slow in here...
:(

Took a great ride yesterday! Nice back roads and ended up at Red Rocks in Morrison.

Got some gopro vids too! I'll post some up in the gopro thread.

I'm in Lakewood kinda around Hampden and Wads. If you put together a ride, let me know. I see Buells around quite a bit, but I never get the chance to talk to anyone with one.

Sounds good! [up] Just keep an eye out for this thread and hopefully we can get something goin.

Any one in northern colorado? I need some help with ecmspy. Lovin this warm weather we've been havin. But my xb9s is running lean, and getting hot to quick.:(

Just came across this thread...

I live along peak2peak hwy and just got my bike back on the road a couple of weeks ago. Already racked up 9xx miles :D

I'm out wandering the twistys along the front range whenever I can. Would love to meet up with some fellow buellers for a ride.

Sweet! [up] Glad to have you onboard...

I'm hoping to get everyone a chance to meet up soon, maybe June?

@ 970Geek, sorry you are having troubles. I'm not sure who can help...not too many people from CO on here right now :(

Nice pics Jesse. If you want to do a ride in the beginning to mid June I should be able to attend. Towards the end of June I'll be on vacation.

How does the first weekend in June sound ???

Anyone have any preferences on where we ride ???

I don't really consider anything less then 100-150 miles of twistys an decent ride.

Meet in the middle, Denver area ???

970Geek : any luck with your "running lean" issue ??
wish i could help, but I've never messed with ecmspy.

I think that would work for me!

Location wise I'd say it kinda depends on who is in to ride...

Myself and any Springs people can take the back way up to HWY 285. I'd say if we could meet somewhere on 285 that'd be great. That way we are not going back down into actual Denver to meet. Then from 285 we could take a nice curvy route somewhere. I haven't explored too much up around that area so s/o might chime in with a route north of 285 or maybe west of there.

I'd also invite some of my non-buell friends that ride street just to have a few more guys come along. Probably at least 2 I can think of, an RC51 and Duc 1098.

Perhaps an early meet for the Springs guys, 8 o'clock or so and that would put us at 285 around 10:30.

Opinions???

I can look into coming up with a route. Between three bikes I've ridden appox. 50,000 miles of twistys along the front range and western slope.

Looking for just a nice scenic route with a few play areas ??

Depending on who wants to join in, what about meeting at hwy 85 and C470, southwestern edge of Denver. I know a couple of good roads that start near there.

FYI: I ride at a relaxed pace. I'll play a little, but through areas with high residential or tourist traffic I keep my speed respectful.(Keeps me out of trouble with the cops:D )

Where do you live? I only ask cause I think we are all pretty spread out.

I guess if we keep bumping this we'll see who is all in....

Hey guys i don't get on here much but i live in Colorado Springs and would be down to meet and ride with you guys Name is Dissan drive a 09 XB12SS.

I live about an hour west of denver.(if your in a car)

that is the reason why i sugested the meeting area i did. it's about an hour from my place, about an hour from the Springs(I-25/hwy85) and about an hour from Fort collins.

I am down to meet where ever though.....

I'll check into the first weekend in June and I'll let everyone know. 150 miles sounds good. That is about my max anyway cause my butt is usually killing me by the 150th mile. LOL! Sometimes I forget to check on here so if you guys need an answer from me quick then send me an email at [email protected]

TorqueMonster: 150 miles is just geting started :D
you need different bars and a better seat

RadoBuell thanks for jumping in!

I live about an hour west of denver.(if your in a car)

So are you coming down off I-70? Post up a route from that meeting spot and see if it works for everyone. I can meet the Springs guys and ride up that way with them. Otherwise we can take the back way and meet you in the mountains and then take a route from there...maybe in between I-70 and HWY285?

I live about 20 miles north of I-70, don't ride the major hwys much.(two lane twistys are more fun:D) I'm really open as far as the meeting spot. For the route I am thinking of, we can meet up with the Springs guys at Sedalia.

Route is a little longer then I remembered, but with a lunch stop, easy enough for anyone to do without getting to saddle sore.

http://mapq.st/Ml6PEG

main reason i was thinking this route is just because I don't want you Springs guys to have all the fun running from Deckers to 285. [cool]

let me know what you guys think, I know an easy dozen different routes within the same area. with all the canyons in this area, the route can be changed on the fly without any trouble.

I think the only problem with that route is step #4 before Deckers, it says portions unpaved. I think I've been down that way from the Deckers side and I had to turn around cause it turned to dirt...

I've never been that far north on the bike, how far is Estes Park area (ride time) from the Springs?

I put the word out to a few on my car forum and also my UPS guy who has that Duc 1098. So I'm still waiting to see who is all in...
