Lewisville, checking in.

Spotted an 1125CR on 635 right off of 121 this morning, was behind until the stop at Royal and Regent. Only the third or fourth Buell of any kind that I've seen on the road over the span of a year or so. Wish I could have been riding.

Also, anyone in the DFW area have some spare parts for an XB12S, or know anyone that might?

netty, here goes...

Front brake lever
Right rider foot peg
Left and right seat rails
Tail piece (chopped or not, doesn't matter... mine was cut already)
Brake light lens (clear preferably)
Frame pucks

Recently purchased an 04 XB12S and live in Crowley. Just changed the primary oil and when I started it up the fuel pump didn't do the normal run then shut down prior to starting up. It just keeps running. I have read that the problem could be chaffed wires but I have never removed a fuel pump. Anyone have a suggestion for a good mechanic to have a look?

Ok I rode my STT for the first time since Oct. and on the way home from work LOW and BEHOLD a nice little STT pulls up on I35 next to me headed north in Lewisville...I let him pass so he could see me buell too. I wasn't sure he acknowledged me so I pull back up next to him and he just looked over and kept on rollin...almost reminded me of the mystery girl who showed no love on her Buell either in Lewisville headed north I told y'all about...is this coincidence?

The tank cover was white...I could be wrong about it being a STT but I think the rest was charcoal...the tail was chopped to look like a pickle fork LOL...He don't wanna get run from behind.

Mad Dax....My old TT resides in Hickory Creek/ Lake Dallas. It's white with tranlucent amber rims may still have the number plates on with #26 on them. Heard the guy rides it ALL the time.

Well I am just North of that off Swisher exit. No number plates.....it seems like maybe I saw a glimpse of amber or goldish...it was gettign dark...It was prolly your old one.

Mad Dax , here's my old TT. If you see it the guys name is David and he's a really nice guy and A MAJOR motorcycle junky !

Hmm did look like taht at all...unless he painted and did some other stuff. I am sure i'll see it again then...I am gonna start riding it again tomorrow. I put a new front tire on this evening little harder than it looked by the zip tie method but i got it off and on.

I'm from Granbury, Texas 20 miles south of Fort Worth. New member and would like to meet up with other members for riding in the hill counrty. Does anyone have contact information for Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex Buellers?

There's quite a few of us. We usually post rides here or in our FAcebook group.

Nice to hear there are some local enthusiasts I am looking forward to meeting up for some riding. I am not originaly from Arlington but my wife lived there and graduated from Sam Huston. What is the name of the facebook Group I will like to add and follow there as well. I am original from Florida.

Mc hooligans. Ill tell him to let you in through group. We're always posting dumb buell shit and rides.

I am relatively new to Texas, and the heat. What does everyone use for tires? I bought an 04 XB12S last fall that has Conti's on it but the rear needs replaced. With the summer heat coming I was wondering how hard it is on tires and if anyone had suggestions for tires. Mostly use it for commuting with more aggressive weekend rides.
