ok, this may sound redneck as it gets, but i have gotten lucky with el cheapo "universal" LED items from AutoZone of all places! i started with a pair (only 1 needed, but only sold as a pair, makes a handy spare) of jamstraight 1175R direct replacements for the break/tail bulb. it fit well inside the factory housing and didnt need any load equalizers or any extra work or parts, just plug in & go! bad thing about it is that the LED board is circular & about as big around as a quarter, when paired with a red lens, it aint so easy to see especially in the day time. heres where things get tricky, i have to replace my undertail, got a new one from sebimoto, but dont have a steady hand or the money to have someone cut it out for a factory housing. got to thinking "can i find a 'universal' socket for the bulb?", & got lucky! not only did they have one, but they also have "universal" blinker/sidemarker bulb sockets as well as LED blinker bulbs that also have the plug & play ability! all together it will all fit inside of a stock housing & can mount to a flat flush surface (like what i am having to deal with). will be picking up the blinker set up next weekend and will have total cost and pics. so far, im only out of pocket around $20 for the pair of tail bulbs & socket. only piece i am missing is a clear tail lens, but that wont be hard to find im sure
