Just wanted to say hello. I had a bada$$ XB12S from 2005-2008 when I was stationed in New Hampshire. I sold it and bought a Ducati S4R. Nice bike, but way too much maintenance and issues. Since then, I've had a couple of custom Triumphs (fully custom 71 T120R bobber and a 2010 Thruxton that I customized with LSL steering damper, forged alum. wheels (black) with 160 rear tire, 120 front, Full titanium Arrow exhaust and etc.). I always missed the Buell, so I recently picked up a 2006 XB12R with low miles, but in need of some love and plastics. It has a Special O.P.S. pipe, Corbin seat, and gel grips. It's going to be my daily beater since my truck gets 14 MPG. My wife suggested a scooter, but I just couldn't do it lol. Been riding MCs of one type or another for 30 years.

I'm turning the XB into a creamsicle Buell (white and amber) and hope to get it on the road soon, but it depends on lead time for the plastics. I've heard 6 - 8 weeks min.
