Cool. How about 8/11 or 8/12? I don't really have a preference as to one or two car garages. Either one beats having no garage. :D

And I guess it would be helpful for anyone interested in attending to post what they need done to their bike, what model/year, what their skill level is, any special tools they may have, etc.

I want to say either of those days are good I am going to be getting my trailer ready for MotoGP (Not trailering the bikes there) we are bringing it to park the bikes in it while watching the race. I am going to change my oil & primary oil that weekend and give it a once over before.

I have have the tools needed to do common maintenance. What do you need done on your bike?

We could always meet in the middle somewhere! Not sure when because my wife is prego and due on the 13th, but soon, I'm sure I'll need an afternoon or morning of me time! lol :p

I've got a two car garage, but one side is full of 65 Chevelle, pro touring project... lol

I need to do my front and rear wheel bearings ASAP! I need a front stand. :-(

I have a stand that you could use but I cant bring it if I ride up there. :(

Another way I have lifted the front with out a front stand is jack stands under the rear sets, take off the muffler, and jack up the engine.

I need somone that knows how to use tunerpro on an 09 so I can get my bike tuned. Anyone know how?

CGO wheel B's are super easy no special tools even needed, I finally did mine after 35,000 miles and my originals are still buttery smooth. As far as lift, I still have an original muffler. I will take a block of wood and pot it under the front of the muffler for the front wheel, and under the rear of the muffler for the rear wheel.

Lets make it happen where are you in PA? I wouldnt mind taking a trip up there for some riding.

Jessie, I live in the Carlisle area, 5 miles from where the have the car nationals every year. Im not hip on the best roads around here but if you come up I would do some research

I am not into hitting turns hard anymore after my accident, so didnt worry about picking some amazing road. I would like to come up that way I have never been there before, I wanted to go to the bike show at carlisle last weekend but I was in a wedding.

It wont be till the end of August before I could make that trip up there. I have a friend that has a GSXR suspension swapped SV650 that will probably make the trip with me. What weekend works for you and I will take a ride up there.

yes Jessie i read your thread on the accident. Sucks but glad your OK! I'm surprised you didn't weigh in on the thread, "my buell saved my life" because yours really did.

All weekends are good for me so far, when it gets closer, if something comes up I will let ya know

Jesse, what the hell happened to your bike???

I haven't ridden in 4 weeks. Might try to work on the bike today.

That is a pic of it when I had everything off of it after the accident.

Zach do you use tunerpro or ecmspy? I need someone with some skillz to tune my bike.

I thought it was funny that you put the standard spring back in....

I use ECMspy. The Buell EFI control is very simple, but also very limited and difficult to tune. There is no FKLC or FBCK to adjust timing for knock control. The typical methods I'd use to tune my car doesn't work with tuning the bike [mad]

I believe I fixed the knock. I put my bike up and checked the static timing... it was slightly advanced as I had suspected. I reset the timing and have not experienced knock since.

Thanks for the tips. I have a special O.P.S. muffler, so I'm not sure how strong it is anymore for lifting. I'm going to pick up a front stand, just need to find one. I may try a block of wood under the front of the muffler because i still think it's probably strong enough in the front. I have a motorcycle jack, but again, I don't want to crush the muffler.

Looking forward to meeting up with you guys at some point.

I'm worried that the knock may have done irreversible damage to the piston rings (as it typically does). I'm going to do my compression tests at some point in the next few weeks. If the bike has low compression, I'll consider rebuilding this winter with a 1250cc kit :D

Ya that's the down side that will make me finally buy some stands. I still have a stocker and on top of that I have bounced mine off a couple curbs so its banged up anyway.

Whether it's Carlisle PA or Leesburg VA, I'm just looking forward to hanging out and learning more about our bikes. So location isn't so much a concern for me, as either one is about 1-1.5 hours away for me.

If anyone is good at ECMSpy, I may need help fine-tuning my new-to-me 06 Uly. My 05 Lightning is 100% stock, so no issues there. My Uly has a Jardine and EBR ECM, but I don't think it was tuned properly. It has the typical cold-blooded start, and stumbles/hiccups/whatever you call it for the first mile or two until it's fully warmed up. Ultimately, I'm debating whether to simply swap the stock muffler and Jardine (and ECMs) between the two bikes. I'd rather have a quiet long distance Uly, and a loud Lightning.

There are other issues I would like to check, but may not necessarily be problems yet. Rear wheel bearings, crimped fuel pump wires, voltage regulator check, etc. I don't have any problems yet, but I've read a ton of threads on here and BWB so now I'm paranoid. For example, I don't know whether to simply wait for the rear wheel bearings to start going bad, or if I should just buy the 2010 wheel which apparently has upgraded bearings. [confused]

I'm also looking to buy and install some good LED driving/fog lights, so I'd like help with that. Otherwise, the bike overall is in good shape.

PM ArmyMP09 he has a front and rear TRex stands for $90.

[sad] but :D at the same time. I hope you dont have to do this but it would be awesome to do. [up]

Whether it's Carlisle PA or Leesburg VA

I am ready to ride with some Buells also!

Bike rebuilds are great... you can get the whole rebuild kit for $1K and installation should be fairly easy DIY... not sure if I should get the crank blueprinted again?? [confused]

Well this weekend is out for me, but Aug 11-12 is open soooooo far, Anybody have a garage they want to volunteer for a maintenance work shop learning shared experience type get together. Pssshhh oh ya and riding!
