JWoody-you have first dibs on the trailer spot in April. I take everything but the kitchen sink so you can travel light.
I don't know about IMS this spring, I was a little disappointed with the D.C. show, I may go to the Charlottte IMS show this year.

I sent invites to Jesse, Ray and Zach on FB (sorry Jason hit me up if your on there) for MOTO GP, bunch of racers and .neters (aka dcsportbikes.net) are going.

Yes I will hopefully be in attendance for all the races Jesse suggested.

And for the record, the wine slushies were good...;)

BTW, that SV is one hot piece of machinery [up] lal (for those who don't know I made up this 'laugh a little' )

FYI, Jesse cleans his bike every time he rides because he likes people coming up to him and druelling all over him and you know what I am taking about, cmmmmh, Coleman Powersports Woodbridge, guy in a Duc shirt basically wanted to take Jesse on a date and then buy his bike from him :D

Will you be covering alot of ground on the race trips or will it be a winery tour the whole way there? Jesse's bike will be spotless by the time you get to the races if he cleans it at each wine tour.:p
I will have to ask him about the guy in the Duc shirt next time we all get together for a ride. I can't wait to hear this story!

Lal, Chris I like how you are making fun of me for keeping my bike clean. When was the last time your bike was dirty? Who puts a car cover on their Z while it sits in the garage so it doesnt get dust on it? Who has 30k on a 2005 Z and doesnt drive it, is it a supercar? You cant make fun of someone when you do the exact same thing, that bike is the one thing that I have that will look new for the rest of my life, not like everything that you own.

:p

Yesterday I finally got a call from Skip's in Winchester my bike is done. Come to find out it was not the motor it was the compensating sprocket that had to be replaced along with my clutch cable. I'm picking the bike up Saturday. They had my bike for 5 months. The tags are dead the inspection is dead so it's coming up on December so what the point in renewing the tags and having it inspected until spring?

After 5 months you would think they would throw in a free inspection. Tell them you want a free sticker on it when you pick it up on Saturday, it is the least they can do.

I got the bike back. It runs great. When they had the seat and the air box cover off they went ahead and changed out the plugs. The compensating sprocket nut had backed off and the part of the clutch cable that goes into the primary cover was broken. They also got me a 2004 XB12S parts book. They told me that by what I had described to them. That I thought that there was a problem in the bottom of the motor that figured they would have to split the case that they saved it for a winter project. They were up front and honest with me. They are a good bunch of guys at Skip's and the don't mind working on Buell's. I would recommend them. Well it looks like we have a few nice days ahead of us this 1st week of December so I plan on riding to work the next few days.

Hopefully we can get together this spring.

Tomorrow is going to be extremely nice. It is also my Saturday (I work shift work). I plan on being out all day on the bike. I live in Charles County so if anyone out there wants to ride in the SOMD area, let me know!

I can't wait! I went out for a freezing cold 20 mile test ride on saturday to make sure all the work I put into it was good. Thought about riding it to work today but common sense won that argument.

Suuup bros :D
Damn it's been a long time since I've been on here lol glad to see everyone's still here! Took me a minute to figure out what was going on around here then I noticed the lack of posts from December to March haha
Anyway for those of you that I don't know I'm Chris, I'm from Carroll County MD and I have an 04 xb12r.
I'm def ready get back out there on some rides with you guys & have some fun this summer. I've already been out a handful of times since Jan but once we get some consistent warm weather (and I get through my wedding/honeymoon in may 0_o) I'll be planning trips for Ocean City, Tail of the Dragon, and going to a Motogp race. Also this will be my first year racing in CCS / ASRA so I'll be traveling around a bit doing that but I'm always open to meeting up with anyone for a ride or day trip.
Here's my number if anyone wants to hit me up 410-596-5027 ...I think I still have Zach & Jessie's numbers so I might hit ya guys up soon to catch up.

Maybe we should have a spring get together..

Maybe we should go ride on a Sat, then have a night of drinking and bullshitting.

Well I'm down for riding on saturday if we can have a little more "northern" trip lol, not sure what you guys are up for but Liz will be riding with me so I don't want to make her suffer on the back for to long haha

This saturday is out for me, but a weekend coming up later this month. This year my wife will be riding with me sometimes also, lets plan a meet later in the month when the weather will be nice, nice.

When is your track day Chris?

Pick a date and place and we will make it.

Sounds good to me, I was assuming you meant this weekend since the temps are supposed to jump up into the 50s. Either way I'll be out riding but we can jut keep in touch over the next few weeks and see how the weekends turn out.
As for racing the first ones that are close enough to go to are May 4-5 at NJ motorsports park & the 25-27 at Summit Point but my wedding is May 11th & I think I'll be in Hawaii for summit I just can't remember which day were leaving for that but well be gone for two weeks. If I can't make either of those then ill definitely be at VIR on June 15-16. I'm going to try really hard to make 10 races this year but I think my hopes may be a little high lol well see.

Awesome day to ride! This pic is on Turkey Point road in North East Md. Still have some work to do to the deter section of the chin fairing so it still hasn't been installed.

Nice! ^^ I took Liz out and a friend on his 1000rr for about a 50-60 mile ride through loch raven resivour, gunpowder, Monkton, & jarretsville lol there always my favorite places, nice open roads tight turns and barely any traffic. 😊
Oh & I also ran into a guy on a new 1198 Duc panigale 😮Oooh it was soo pretty lol

I have only road my bike twice since the repair to the compensating sprocket. I plan on riding to work this week except for Tuesday they are calling for rain. I'm up for Slyline Drive in the spring. So keep me posted. The only other down side is I tore the zipper on my right saddle bag.
