Dyna Beads..I have purchased some and plan to put them in my new Rosso's. If you have heard of them or tried them, tell me what you think.

strmvt uses them and is happy with it (if i'm not mistaking)

i never heard of it before he mentioned them, so i can't help you any further.
though BPG was going to test them too ;)

I do have the Zoe and Lefox. I love them. No unsightly wheel weights on your wheels smooth as glass ride. Only issue I have is when you change tires. I just posted in a thread over on bad web about my experience with changing the tires. Here is the link. Like it says I will be making a "Installment Guide" I Will post it here as well if anyone is interested.

well I guess the thread got deleted over at bad web b/c Blake doesn't want any non sponsored products or products he doesn't believe in posted on his site. it's his site so. This is the second time I've had a thread deleted from his forums b/c it isn't from one of his sponsors or something he believes in. The 1st post I had was about the Buell t-shirts I got for Lefox I posted the same info over on bad web and the post got deleted b/c it was from a non sponsoring dealer. I was like what the f*&^ but it's his site to do with what he pleases. I guess trying to help fellow Buellers with hard to get t-shirts or products that may or may not improve their experience on their bikes isn't what I need to be doing so... this will be my last post on any forums for Buell enthusiasts. Good luck all and have fun

We arent knockin ya? And nothing you post here gets deleted? I think you may have posted that on the wrong site...this is the cool one here[up]

they work Zoedogg1 I'm just a little miffed at Blake at badweb is all 2 Posts and a thread deleted b/c he doesn't believe in the product or it's not from one of his site sponsors. It's his site to run as he sees fit. I'm just of the mind that if it has the chance to enhance a fellow Buellers experience on their bike I could care less who makes it and whether I Believe in it or not everyone is entitled to their own opinions. but to delete posts b/c you don't believe in something or not from your sponsors is to harsh in my opinion

RE: BW, focus on the product and leave specific dealers or shops out of the post, keep it to PM, and you're threads should stay intact.

but sorta on topic... i want to try DynaBeads in my TrXus mud terrains (32" truck tire). been a bitch to balance, started looking seriously at these beads.

thanks for the feedback on them here, its appreciated!

Typeone, I didnt put up any dealers web addresses or anything I just simply posted my opinion on the product.

strmvt, I know what happened and understand your frustrations. I personally think its a corny reason to delete a thread also. I go to BWB also, and you have to ask yourself, what the point of having a forum is, if not to share ideas and information. It shouldnt matter whether or not a person believes in a product. Its information. 80% of what you read at forums like this are based on personal opinion..If you ask me, someone seems to be on his high horse at BWB, and thats too bad for him. As far as it not being a product he supports is a cop out BullS*it reason, people post products he's never heard of all the time, and or has nothing to do with. Again thats what forums or for also.
Anyhow, I got my beads yesterday and my tires should be in tomorrow. I'll mount them this weekend if I get the chance and I will be trying them out. I may also be putting them in my truck. I've got 35" Mickey Thompsons with about 30,000 miles and they are far from smooth anymore. Serious cupping!!

Hope they work out for you Zoe I'm not sure if they'll be able to do anything for your 35's tho if the're already seriously cupped worth a shot tho good luck

I put them in. I took the weights off when I put them in and replaced the valve stem. Went for a ride and seemed fine. Got on the highway, took the first off ramp and turned around. Started to notice my bike was getting harder to turn, I was getting bummed real fast then when I was 1/2 mile from my house came to a stop and noticed my front tire was flat. WHAT the hell is going on? Got home and realized the valve insert is a no good piece of crap. Installed orig. and no prolems. Tire rides smooth...removed one ounce and installed one ounce of beads. May need more possibly. Rear never had weights...lucked out and got a balanced tire...for now. But in short, I was leary about using them...very leary..BUT they do work...dont know how..dont care how..they just do work. And good. No more weights on the wheels.[up]

good to hear...and are they just loose in your tire?

how about rolling sounds? don't want to be riding around sounding like a lottery draw :p

LOL...they do roll loose, no sound at all. They are very small. Maybe a mm each, if that.
Hey, LeFox do you know if the brake calipers are the same for 04 and 05. I had to buy a new one due to a dumb mistake on my part, so I got one off an 05 "shipping" to me for my 04. I only figured they were the same.

should be the same...don't think there were any upgrades done on u.s. models either.

Zoe hehe my rear valve core got "stuck" on a bead kept losing air. I caught it before I went on the road tho. I LOVE not having the buzz in the bars at hwy speeds my hands don't fall asleep any more. Did you notice the buzz gone in your bars at all? sonething you have to "pay attn" and "look" for but it's gone on my bike and my front tire started cupping and has stopped sooo.... I like the beads

Uuu, I havent really noticed that. I almost think I might need a little more than an ounce that is in my front tire already..Is that even an option? I removed an ounce of weight from my rim. My back tire was balanced and didnt need anything...for now. I read on the site that you could, but wasnt sure if it would be a good thing. It does feel like it could be a tad smoother though. Should I add more? Maybe 1/4 oz? I figure I'll add a 1/4 ounce to the rear later in a couple months also. What do you think?
Nice not having weights though, the chrome plated ones I had the first time were not to bad but got ugly black ones this last time and they were crooked to top.
