I'm not looking to offend anyone. But does anyone else feel like the lightning series is one of the most gorgeous bikes ever made. While the rest of buells lineup is just a huge nasty looking pile of dung.

While I completely agree with the first part..... I also completely disagree with the second part. If I had to rate all the Buell bikes according to looks it would be:

1) M2 Cyclone
2) XB9/12s
3) XB9/12r
4) 1190RS
5) 1125CR
6) 1125r
7) Blast

I do NOT think the other XB models are as slick,tough or as unique looking but they're not ugly bikes.

The 1125 is a whole different bike. In all honesty I can't voice an opinion because I can't see the bike behind those hideous scoops.

I love the entire XB series but I gotta go lightning over bolt, but if the bolt has a lightning tail, that I'd rock!

Maybe the bolt conversions in my future

Personal opinion, the Firebolt by far has much more visual appeal (not cause i have one)
But the styling is next to last on why i love Buells, the way the feel and ride, so much fun!!!!

1125 is just visually unappealing to me. I can't get past the pods, the CR doesn't look right with the R tail, and the R front fairing looks "whaleish" huge to me, plus the pods. I've seen 1125s in full fairings that don't look bad...

I personally think the yellow gatorade is better than the blue.
Chevy way better than Ford, but not as good as Lincoln.

Im all in for a little troll hunting, this ^ is just about as trollish as it gets. I agree the OP is asking for some trouble with his post. Probably wont contribute anything worth a damn to the Buell community cause hes model specific, you guys jumped his shit pretty hard and sound like a bunch of trolls yourselves. Oh9bolts at least called him out tactfully by asking for pictures (forum unwritten rule)

I like them all! They all have different attitudes and amazing engineering aspects.

The ultimate buell has yet to be made. We (me and my brother) have been kicking around the idea of a S1 or X1 with a 1125 rotax stuffed in it. Getting rid of the radiators on the side and putting them in the tail. Similar to what Britten did.
