so when I force lube down the line it wont make it all the way down to the primary? I figured it would follow the cable all the way down and exit with the cable end. I have not looked in there yet so i dunno. Thanks
How sure are you that your supposed to lube it? A lot of the newer lines are coated in a plastic of some sort and shouldn't be lubed. I don't know if that includes Buell or not. I know Harley's are like that.
"Clutch control cable adjustment is required to compensate for normal clutch lining wear. Oil and adjust the clutch control cable with LUBIT-8 TUFOIL CHAIN AND CABLE LUBE (Part No. 94968-85TV) at proper mileage intervals"
Well, there you have it, thanks Gator. My clutch cable broke the other day and I am going to replace it today. It seems pretty straight forward...anybody have any experience doing it?
