I think a 9 is a good bike to start on, the power of it and a 12 is not as abrupt as the 1125. Everyone is different but maturity and respect and fear of death make a big difference in how one tackles learning to ride.I will look for a trade for an XB9.
Really? I think a gixx 600 is a great bike for weight and size, 1125 is taller and heavier and doesn't turn as easy.i had a gsxr600 for a month before i had my cr, i think the cr is much easier to ride as it feels lighter due to mass centralization,
Oh and one thing I tell every rider is if you have friends who want you to ride with them, never, ever try to keep up with them if they are way more experienced than you. Go at your pace, take your time and your own lines. A few have crashed trying to follow me, and when I was new I almost crashed trying to follow a real good rider. Back the pace down, arrive alive.
