I am definitely excited to go to this even though its almost 900 miles from MI I will be going for sure. Even if I have to trailer the bike down, or at least till I stop seeing snow lol.

if you need a place to leave your truck /trailer
i am outside of Grand rapids about 30 minutes south of greenville.
I have plenty parking open.
Depanding on how the weather is i maybe trailering or riding.
Last year no way could i have rode for that matter i never even rode before i got there.
year before i had already ridden 500 miles..Never know up here in the north how fast or if spring will come lol

I want to be in this as well. Never been before though. Out of the 4 days, what all is planned? Do people usually stay the whole time, or just run a day and go home? I Want to head further east to see a few things as well since we're that close.

Also, what is the average pace of the group?

thinking maybe we can do some contests.
Like furthest ride in on 2 wheels ( will require odometer pics)

Good Idea! How about separating into groups, so the Blasts don't have to compete with the Uly's ya know?

Normally the first day is get checked in if your arrive early ride the Dragon. then a group ride somewhere (normally the back porch in telico but i don't think it was open last time i was at the tail).

The other days weather permitting will be group rides. weather permitting. Group pace varies by size but normally we have a good paced leader and a slow peace sweeper to be sure nobody gets left or lost.

ALWAYS RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE AT A PEACE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most these meets end because someone got in over there head and gets hurt.

The roads in that area are amazing and there's plenty to see.

One night we have some kind of dinner and raffle or prizes at the deals gap resort.

Campfire,Drinking and BS sessions every night

This is all in the planning stages.

Rocket if you ride a blast in over 3-400 miles you will get something.

I don't have a Blast, was just the first "what if?" that came to mind.

I guess I just wanted to make sure we're above the usual "cruiser" speed within the law of course....

Sounds like a good time. My wife will probably go too and take photos for us and then go sight seeing while "the guys" are out riding.

If this happens to be the last Buell Dragon event, I want to be a part of it. Hope to meet everybody there!!

NO!!! Not yet. I haven't even started my winter mods yet. It was 60 deg yesterday and I managed to put 100 miles on Bruiser. I will start tearing him down this weekend, after the IMS show in DC on Saturday.

For those of you that have been there, how many days are necessary to be there? I'm trying to figure out my plans and try to recruit some locals to go along. looking at tarailering the bikes down. Call me a wuss but that's too far for me

First of all-All are welcome! All that matters is that you love to ride and ride responsibly.

Thur- Ride to dinner-optional. Everyone is coming in at different times, it is just a chance to meet everyone in a relaxed setting. After dinner we start the bonfire back at the resort and the drinking and BS'ing start, plus welcome in the late arrivals.

Fri- Usually kickstands up between 9 and 10 and off to ride some of the best roads on the east coast. Back at the resort 5ish. Cookout or dinner from the resort.(there food is awsome and you won't walk away hungry) More Fire and partying. Some type of raffle or giveaway.

Sat-Another ride, usually shorter than Fridays. Back to the resort then open to whatever you want. More Fire and partying.

Sun-Everyone heads back home at their own pace.

Dragonslayer and some of the others more local to the area map out a couple of ride options for each day and we go from there.
