Last year noone had it. I wish i could get my firebolt tail sold to buy one. If not i am doing te voodoo remake so it will sound good either way.

Dunno if any of you folks were aware, but part of the Cherohala collapsed
I saw a few other pictures of it on TV and it looked way worse than the pics in the linked article. I would be very surprised if its open when the buellists invade the area.

Last year during Dragon V weekend I ventured out on the Skyway for a few miles but it was raining so I turned back. Awesome road.

^^^this is sad. That road is my favorite that I was on out there last year. Its a long road though...maybe some of it will remain open[confused]

I'm finally getting started on an event schedule and I want to put up a question to everyone. The past couple of years the group picture has been a PITA for lack of a better word. Not everyone will be staying at DGMR and I want to make every opportunity to get everyone included in the picture. So here is my question, well actually 2: When should we try to get it? Friday or Saturday? And would morning before we head out or afternoon/ evening be better for everyone?
Keep in mind a few things before you reply.
1) It takes roughly an hour to get everyone and all thier cameras gathered up and all the pictures all taken, so it will push back the start times of the planned rides.
2) The Raffle WILL be Saturday evening around (hopefully before) sunset, so that time period is off limits.
Feel free to comment here but for an accurate count please PM me or message me on FB. My thought is Friday afternoon in case the weather doesn't co-operate we will have Saturday to fall back on, but I don't want to exclude those of you who may not be rolling in untill Friday evening. Let me know.

OH.....by the way......ONLY 82 Days untill Dragon VI!!!!!!!!!!

Good idea Raz. Last year I really didn't get the chance to ride with a big group of you guys. Seems I was out going solo or headed to robbinsville or something whenever a big group was taking off. A loose itinerary for pics/ventures away from 129 would be cool.

Once I get something somewhat solid I will post it up.
Last years idea of a couple of smaller groups worked out really well and we will try to do it again this year. I took a group on the Cherry Cola loop and Nick took the younger group on a loop that offered some roads that suited the more aggressive riders. I'm not "that old" but I don't heal as quickly as I did years ago. I managed to keep a 50-55mph pace which made the long sweepers exciting without having to work too hard to keep things in control. As always, everyone should ride thier own pace and the group will adjust accordingly. What ever loop I do this year, I plan on swinging by at least one of the other resorts/lodge/campground to save them from having to be at DGMR to start the ride. Again, I will post up when I have something more solid.
I am really looking forward to this year.
