I've got a brother that lives in Dandridge Tenn. and have been down to that part of Tenn. quite a bit now, but never on a bike lol and not along the tail.
I'd agree there are quite a lot of tantalizing roads round there.

How's the lodging options? what options are there?

^I've stayed at the fontana resort right up the road, they are pretty nice. I think the motel is booked full. fontana has the only bar in the area supposedly.

Anybody that went or goes there frequently know of any common problems the cops have with bikes? I have slicks on my supermoto and I heard they have quite an issue with that. All of my bikes have updated inspections as well so not sure they could do anything about that?

You can also tent(no campers) at Deals gap for about 15 per night they have a boys and girls shower and toliet open 24/7.
As far as cops..Bring proof of insurance and regerstration..(even if your state doesn't require it)
Doubt you will get stopped for slicks but if you get stopped with them they might ticket u.
I think the one on the north end is Dragon Den

From what I have seen, the TN law enforcement does not care what your State allows, if they stop you, you will most likely be ticketed for something, maybe several things...I would swap tires on the Supermoto if it were me.

cops in tn and nc cant enforce certain tickets for example if you live in nc and visit wi u cant get a ticket for not having a front plate. not sure what the line is on others tho

Man It's so tempting to see about making this trip.... I'm in Clarksville TN, so I'm only a few hours away, but with work its hard to schedule any time off....maybe I'll decide to show up last minute and just camp, or see if anybody has any floor space for sale in a hotel room....

If anybody is planning to Drive through Clarksville area with a trailer or truck PM me and It may be more reason to convince me to go!!!

It is served in a snifter glass after my second glass I was told they are not aloud to serve more than two,and that's the TAIL OF THE DRAGON!Hahahahah A another reminder.
