Thanks

I did. They had to re-do the art so they've been delayed. I might be helping source them so I'd be glad to fill you guys in on what I know but that's about all I know right now.

Posted on both Dragon VI FB pages as well. This is the route I plan doing for Fri/Sat group rides. A little long, but I will pre run it to make sure I don't need an earlier start time. It includes Cherokee, highest point on the BRP, Tilley and Wayah roads.

two questions, busy this morning so dont have time to sit and read the whole damn thread, but are there any campsites nearby, and what are the age ranges of the fellas going? (young buck here)

Can't help you with the camp sites but I'm pretty sure you can camp right at the resort. Sorry, you might just have to read up! LOL ;)

Age range is all over. Without asking everyone's age I'd guess anywhere from early 20's to early 60's or more. Definitely a great group regardless! The rides tend to get split up by level of riding aggressiveness so there's no fear of really riding out of your comfort zone. Guaranteed to be a good time! :p

fin,
Campsites are DGMR, Kickstand Lodge (tent sites & cabins), and Simple Life Campground in Robbinsville. I even think the Iron Horse Lodge has spots for campers/tents, there may be more that I'm not aware of. The campsites at DGMR are $15/night and include a nice bath house with hot showers. Let me know if there is anything else.

I am thinking about going all of a sudden. I need a break from work lol! My concern like a few others is where to stay, My tent and bag is too big and the cost of a hiking 1-2 person tent is unreasonable. For the most part where is everyone staying?

Damn 6 hour ride haha I'm going to have to put some extra padding on my seat before that one. 6 hours on a buell=one sore ass...:D It will be worth it the roads down there look awesome!

If you have a way to get the bike in a truck they also have a place to unload if that helps.

GAXB9R: I think he was referring to the ride routes? 2004xb12s is coming down with me & PAWS this year...Actually...We're coming down with him technically. His trailer & truck! ;) Is it April yet!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I think he was referring to the ride routes?

Correct. We will be riding in style. I was referring to a 6 hour ride loop on saturday I am assuming. I am pretty sure that I saw people pretty much ride the dragon most of the day friday. I can't wait to ride!

what are the age ranges of the fellas going? (young buck here)

I'm 23. Went last year (was 22), and fit right in. Good range of age and guys, and riding style. Don't let age hold you back! How old are you?
