Dragon?

Anybody planning on heading out to the Tail of the Dragon anytime soon? I missed the big meet up earlier this year because I was out of the state for training. I want to go really bad, but don't have anyone here in GA to go with. I've never ridden the road before, and I'd like to not ride alone.

I did it solo, didn't want to hold anyone up and so I rode at my own pace. Never touched a knee down through the entire thing, but then again, I didn't crash either.

I'm not afraid of riding alone, I just prefer riding with others. Just seeing if anyone was planning on going that wouldn't mind meeting up.

I definitely want to go too but can't say when I'm going to get the chance. I missed the big Buell gathering earlier this year too and haven't had a chance to take a couple days to go up there since then.
May have to make a day trip out of it.
When were u thinking?
Day trip? weekend trip? Longer?

I was thinking a day trip out on a weekend. I'm free pretty much any weekend, as long as the weather is good. Is there any good place there to park my Jeep? I was going to put the bike on my trailer and tow it up there.

There are plenty of boat ramps that I have parked at and unloaded the bikes on the tn side.

I can't say either way whether I can go those weekends or not.
I'm just very busy.
I'm playing around with the idea of going this Sunday but don't know if all my stuff is going to line up for that.

At the moment the 3rd weekend of august isn't spoken for but I'm sure something will arise.

Well I'm defiantly not going Sunday.
Too much prep work is necessacery so I decided I'm going to the lake and dial in the carbs on my stand up jetski.
I'm gonna shoot for a trip in late October and maybe an earlier trip if time allows.

If the weather is good, I'd be down to go next weekend. The 18th is my birthday, and I can't think of a better way to spend the day than riding
