Dual Headlight???

I've been looking into this for a while, and I was led to believe that the stock reflectors would not work.

This thread has the lights I think would work best, but the bi-xenon ones are pretty damn expensive. It's a 3.5" lens vs the 4" lens we have (in lightnings anyway) now, so the look will be a little different, and a custom bracket would be required to mount them. But it does give a true dual hi/low beam.

I dont have a firebolt so this may not work with the light housing, but why dont you get another "low beam" projector, swap it in to where the high beam light is. Find a dual filament bulb that fits, wire both the lows up together and then both the highs up together. That should do it.

Because it's not just a dual filament bulb, the reflectors are not set up for hi/low so you would not get good beam patterns...which means you would not be putting as much light down the road. You would really need to replace the entire stock projector with dual housings made for hi/low to get what the OP is asking for.

This mod just moved up on my list...I'm a ******* and left my light on yesterday. A combination of the Vegas heat and the HID blazing away all day melted and cracked the lens on my low beam, so now I have an excuse to upgrade.
