I'm just asking here, I'm from Minnesota ya dere you betcha we have fuel thats 85%ethanol 15%gasoline it has a 100point+ octane rating.My question is could this fuel be benificial to my Buells proformance if the proper changes in air/fuel delivery are made?

I cant remember for sure but dont most cars that can run E85 have different fuel lines? Maybe im thinking of bio-diesel I cant remember

Yes they are equipped to handle E-85. You cant just run it.

If you remapped your ECM to account for the efficiency loss it would probably work. I cant remember the percent of loss but you would really have to fatten up the mixture, maybe run bigger injectors. On the plus side you could get away with a significant compression increase or a decent pressured supercharger of your liking. Take a look HERE That should answer most of your questions.
