Took my brake lever off, removed the mounting block from the lever itself and spray painted the block that had faded to gold then baked it for about 20 min. I was running out of light so the paint job could have been better, got a couple of small blemishes. But considering they're small and where they are, no big deal. In this pic the red adjuster looks faded a bit too but it's just the light in the pic, it's still a dark bold red. Again, the mounting block on the brake lever is the only place on either of my levers that has faded so for the price, I'm totally happy with these cheapo levers considering the price difference between the expensive ones.
