ebr brake ducts on xb?

I agree, it's overkill for an xb. The SX model does not have the scoop and it's the exact same brake setup. The only time you might possibly need it is if you're actually racing at the pro level.

I agree with oh9, I have been wanting to do this mod on two of my bikes. Dean you have my address and phone number, if you get it sent out by Monday I could have it by christmas.

Does anyone know what the duct is cost wise? Or a part number?

Also, I think the correct hole saw and a set of DRO's sliders would hold everything in place. Just a thought

I contacted EBR a while back about the scoop and they said it would be for sale on the website soon.... That had to been 6+months ago, hopefully it will be on their site soon!

Thanks guys. That could work on an XB or 1125 perhaps. I heard that EBR was re-designing that scoop because it was rubbing the wheel or something so look out for that.

If you contact halfagiraffe hear on the forum she has the capability to quote the parts/availability. She works at a dealership and she would like to develop as a contact between the forum and EBR, which I think is fantastic.

As far as modifying bikes as far as overkill, I think just the fact that we ride Buells to begin with puts us in a category all to ourselves. The very existence of Buell Motorcycles is because Erik went against the grain of traditional American Motorcycle manufacturing. So, modify on brother, modify on. [cool]

I wish I would have seen your post earlier, mrlogix - I already ordered the EBR caliper from a dealer in Daytona. As I start to order the rest of the parts I want, I'll try going through halfagiraffe.
