oh9bolts scoops just came in! we will be sending them out shortly as soon as the plug also arrives. cant wait to see the photos of these on the bike! :D

I've started getting in parts for my EBR brake setup.

I'm surprised that the caliper from EBR doesn't have the EBR label on it like I've seen on their bikes. I don't know if that's just a newer thing for them or if that's the way they come if you order them separate from a bike.

Add me to the hater list. Idk why anyone would pay for a brand new caliper + $175 for the brake duct for no noticeable difference in performance and added ugly factor. Has to be the most expensive of the useless mods you can perform on an xb.

I dig it. I get a lot of crap for it but honestly think it looks cool. It's one of my favorite little odd features of the RX but I tend to like quirky stuff. I want to see a pic of all of it in a disassembled state. Just interested to know how the plug portion. Works. If it just snugs up in there or if you tighten it in like a dollar plug.

From what I have been able to find, it just presses into the end of the axle.

I've got the original 6 pot caliper on my '03, so my braking will be improved quite a bit, and I think the larger 8 pot caliper looks better on the bike than the 6. I'm just debating on whether to have it powder coated red (like the CR) before putting it on. I just need to see that red caliper against some other color rims before I decide.

I just like unique, well thought out, and cool parts. As for the $175, I wish I could have it that easy. When I order my ducts, I'm going carbon fiber to match the rest of the original carbon fiber parts on the bike. (around $750)

You don't like unique...you are downright crazy. Please post pictures of your xb. Its obviously a masterpiece if you are willing to waste $750 on an ugly brake duct.

Some of the people here are worse than people on Mustang forums...

Cool idea, and I personally think some of the best mods, are the ones people who see it will think it is stock.
