I did mine over the summer, but wasn't able to put on too many miles afterwards, and now it is too cold to ride around here. For you guys that have also done this mod, how have the results been? So far no issues on this side, but not enough mileage to tell yet.

Plan on upgrading my front rotor this winter to the EBR slotted rotor. Hoping it will improve or eliminate the pulsing that the stock one seems to do. Switched over to Lyndall gold pads last winter and that has helped quite a bit as far as the feel and confidance I have using my front binders. I have two sets of wheels/tires, one for long trips(pilot road III's) and a sticky set for straightening corners(pilot power 2ct's). The rotor on my long trip front wheel I know is warped and needs to be replaced as it scares the shit out of me if I have to use it aggressively. I have the hardware, just saving up for the pads and rotor. Who knows I may upgrade both of them and be done with it.

ok.... better Breaks are a good modification and this Post is about upgrading front Brake... [up]

It is in the 1125 section so it could be the stator/rotor upgrade for the electrical system. I know I didn't look where it was posted before I chimed in. I'm a little slow at times.:D

An upgrade is a modification. Who would mod something to make it worse? [confused]

My bad gents, it's been awhile. I was referring to the EBR rotor mod to keep the stator cool.

out of curiosity, if this rotor is so much better than the stocks is there any reason its like half the price of the stock rotor on EBR's site?

I have been using the upgraded rotor for about 2 thousand miles. I also disconnected the wire harness upgrade as well. But it also took 6 thousand miles for the last stator to die. Only time will tell, but so far so good. KDF, just out of curiosity do you have the wire harness upgrade? If so did you keep it connected? I was getting some really low voltage readings with it connected. I was getting around 12-13v with it connected, with it disconnected I never see it drop below 14v.

I think another reason the EBR rotor is cheaper is because it does not include the sprag clutch. Buyers need to transfer that part from an OEM rotor to the EBR rotor.

Ask me how I know this... COUGH COUGH I overlooked this the first time I installed the EBR rotor. +1 dumbass
