Will this cable any good for my TPS reset with my bike's modle?

you don't need a cable for your bike to reset tps ,yours is at the throttle. sure someone will chime in.

Hi, for the 2008 and later models, a data link cable is not needed to perform the TPS reset!

The instructions are:
1. Set the engine Run/Stop switch to Run
2. Turn ignition switch to the On position. Do not start the engine.
3. a. Rotate the throttle grip from fully closed...
b. to the wide-open position...
c. hold for 1 second...
d. then back to closed...
e. hold for 1 second...
and repeat steps 3b-3e for three times total, holding the throttle grip against each stop for 1 second.
4. Turn ignition switch off.
Be sure to fully open and close each time.

So it's [closed-open-1s-closed-1s]-[open-1s-closed-1s]-[open-1s-closed-1s] -> ignition off.

A diags cable is still a good investment, though. I sell those as well (as of today!).

and reset info also in your factory owners manual. do NOT perform the tps reset constantly as seems to be the rage with a few owners. the ecm must learn the new settings which takes approx. 50 miles of normal riding to attain.

i ordered that same cable. was having problems getting my computer to connect to bike, took the plastic off the end of the cable and found that the ground wire had broke off the board. so i soldered it back on and it works fine now.

program is pretty easy to use for the basics. i need to do more research on the actual tuning part of this.

Bluetooth would be more convenient if you have the means to communicate with it. FYI, I am building bluetooth cables as we speak.
