Help Support Buellxb Forum:

what doesn't sound right to you? Not trying to be rude but instead of criticizing or just scoffing at something maybe you could enlighten me about an error I may have made. more often than not on this forum I find people unwilling to help. they just reply with an attitude of "are you serious, how could you be so dumb?" or " that doesn't sound right" if it's not right, what is? a good teacher not only shows the error of the student but also shows them a new way. in the past with other bikes that were non-efi and I tried stuff , for instance a bigger jet, many guys not only would say "that's not right" but then would follow up with a remedy of something more correct. Thanks

To be exact I turned o2 midpoint from .49 to .52
Default open loop correction from 105 to 108 and enrich from 3 to 0
I also added on the two bottom rows of my fuel maps a little fuel and reduced all pop on decel. ( I forgot what values)
Now a response of "what" or "that doesn't sound right to me" could be explained better so I can understand what exactly I modified.

Edit: I posted this before you clarified what you did. Read the following with a grain of salt.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend. I wasn't scoffing, I just didn't understand what you said you had done. Did you mean that you bumped the O2 Sensor Target Voltage up a couple points to make the bike target a richer running condition? Your language was just very unclear. Additionally, I will never be a fan of simply eyeballing changes to a fuel map for the sake of making changes. It has no objective basis.

You'll have to forgive me for not providing you with a better how-to on how to tune. I have a tuning business (The Tuniversity) to protect, and can't give away the goods for free. I do provide a tuning package that is focused ONLY on tuning instruction without any additional custom remapping, should you be interested in learning a process that has worked for over 100 Buell riders.

Last thread jack
To stop decel popping I changed cell values on the right side along the bottom two rows. Along the bottom row, when the cell value dropped below 25, I changed the value of those cells to 25. On the next row, when the cell value dropped below 28, I changed all those cells to 28. Both fuel maps.

Yo matteson, when i said "that doesnt sounds right" cause it was unclear what you actually did. So i couldnt explain or teach you anything.

Not to take it the wrong way,

If youre trying to say i dont help anyone just give attitude and rude, plenty can attest that i help at least 25% of the time. The rest, i just have no patience for people who dont listen or ask stupid questions. And sometimes im the stupid one, and people give me ****. Dont be such a baby, and dont give advice on tuning or troubleshooting for a while, cause youre often wrong.
Edit: im suppose to tell you and teach you what was wrong, think octo has given you plenty of options and info about proper tuning and even offers a service to teach you. One day ill probably invest in his website myself cause i dont know everything, but i also dont **** with stuff i dont understand.
