ECM spy

I've read the other post about this,but it was mostly about where to get them and how to build connectors.How well does this thing work?Is it worth the money to buy the race ecm,remap the stock one,or try the spy? Which one works the best on a 03 Xb9r with a Micron full system and air box delete kit,which is what will be going on my bike? Pros/cons?[confused]
