Hi guys, I have cable, I ecmspy, the program works with the bike, I did reset the TPS. But I have no idea where to get maps for my XB9S 2003, and I do not know how to load these maps. The only maps and what I found, is a text file that nenahraju? Any advice? Thank you Martin

I downloaded Ecmspy from Buellysses sever link but every time I go to try anything involving connecting to the bike it tells me there's a problem with my firmware version. When I checked to see what version I had under the EEPROM tab there's nothing there. Im wondering if this is suppose to be like this or if the download was faulty. If it is suppose to state the version in this box can someone send me the Ecmspy program. Thanks

Hi, I have a problem. Should I downloaded maps for my race Buell xb9s BUECB060 2003, he reported that you can not embed .. So I copied the eeprom ECMspy Race Maps of the front and then rear cylinder, and the second open Ecmspy I put in my eeprom, but it will work when the original eeprom RPM 0,800,100,1200,1700 .... and TPS 255,175,125,100.80 ... Race and the EEPROM are 2560,0,1000,1200,2560,2300 RPM .... and TPS 27,88,31,64,10,0,255,175 ..? Therefore quite different values of TPS and RPM. Thank you so much for your advice. Martin

Ok' I plug it in and turn my bike key to the on position "i took out the head light fuse so my battery would not die to fast" any way so i tried to fetch and this error cam up=

Error: exiting - caught exception "The semaphore timeout period has expired.

I tried to find what it means and I dont have a clue. My laptop is new and is not a cheap peice of shit so it should be equiped with up dated everything. so it must have something to do with the program. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I have windows 7.

Are you telling it to autodetect the port before you try to fetch the eeprom?

I am considering picking up an ECMSpy cable. Aside from getting the software from them, which now requires a registration, what else do I need to make adjustments to the maps?

i just got my cable from xopti in... does anyone have a map for a 03 xb9s? I have a buell race can with stock filter. I'm planning on getting a K&N and doing a airbox delete soon.

Running with the stock filter for the time being just means it would be a tad richer correct?

Ok I just f...ed up I tried to install my ecmspy to my blackberry and in doing so it has erased the one on my computer and I forgot how to install it I have the software but there was something els I had to do to it. For it to work on windows 7 can anyone help me

I have a tendency to throw things so before my computer got wings I took it to a computer guy and they fixed it so the best thing I can say is take it to the professionals

I wanted to connect the computer and the ecm spy program. Do not see your program in the engine. YouTube is doing so as a

Failed. Ecm spy V.1.12.1 the program. version.
Just enough to place the engine on the engine light flashes.
Blink rate:
2 long pause, 1 long, pause, 7 short
I do not know what to do.

VICTORY!!

I finally got it to work. I downloaded my eeprom off the bike, burnt the maps from a race ecm onto the eeprom i had downloaded from mike, then saved it as a new eeprom. I then burnt this to my bike and presto! more power, runs cooler etc.

I'm also having problems getting the ecmspy to communicate with my bike (2000 X1)studied alot of the forums and post but no joy

Got the cable and software from navepoint.com through ebay cable works with the hyperterminal test but the ecmspy does not get a comm connection it says its open but just times out

Any help will be apreciated

No download on Buellmods.com for a 2009 xb9sx what should I do? Next week im putting a k&n air filter and a jardine slip-on on it. Do I need the race maps for the ECM or can I just reset the TPS? Can you even alter the 09s ECM?
