ecmdroid Bluetooth CABLE?

Anyone ever try the eBay Buell Bluetooth cable? I'm just looking to clear codes, see codes, and reset TPS at this point. I have the EBR ecm.

Anyone try this cable? Will it and the free download from the play store do what I'm looking to do? The reason Im going this route is that I don't have a PC, nor care to have one. Thanks for any help.

I ordered it. Should be here next week. The guy selling them is a member here. He PM'd me and said that's all I need. That and my cell phone. The app is free at the app store. It looks cool.

I should be able to do lots of things with it like reset TPS, get stored and current codes and I think clear them. You can also adjust A/F values and record a data log.

Those are mine guys, ben I sent yours out today and nick yours went out already as well. Shipping may be a little sporadic as we are in the hospital. My wifes water broke really early, were at 26 weeks, so we are in the hospital for a very long time to come. I just got my 3d printer in and new bluetooth I will be using. I am going to be printing my cases to make them fit better and also make them smaller, water resistant (is the plan) and they will automatically change the baud rate on the fly based off what the tablet/phone/pc etc sends. So if you have a race ecm it will automatically change the baud rate. The price will be more but they will be pretty awesome.

New one would be $85 for forum members. I can take preorders for them now, jus send me a pm. Current model is $70 for forum members thru paypal. $75 thru ebay. Designing/printing/ and testing my cases now if you preorder I will keep you updated as to when they ship.

Im really excited about these, im leaving the cases as they come off the printer because I personally like the look of the 3d print. I can finish the outside of the case if you want, it would be a little extra because of the labor involved. I will continue to offer the 6 month warranty that I currently offer.

Since were in the hospital right now, development is done much slower and at night. We will hopefully be going home soon. And I will have more time. I currently expect to have a shippable version before the end of september (probably at the latest), end of august most likely

Would also really be interested in feedback from users. have the cable but would like to see more for on the fly and while out riding. !! links to pics and app etc would be awesome to see what else is needed (im technologically retarded) thanks yet again to those still supporting and helping others with buells! if only dealers were this useful!!

It works very well and is very affordable.

It's gonna be at least a month before I get my bike back together to try the Bluetooth. I'm looking for reviews myself. Hopefully I can figure it out, I'm computer illiterate. When I do try it I will post, basically if I can figure it out anyone would be able to.

I'm pretty sure this is the Bluetooth interface I bought on eBay. Works perfectly and is well-made. I have ecmspy (latest version) running on Windows 8.1. There's a few subtleties setting-up ecmspy, but nothing major. If you're not computer literate just get a friend to help you. As for the Bluetooth unit, it's a no-brainer. Plug it in, essentially. Well worth the cost. Just be prepared to be a little patient. The manufacturer has some overarching priorities at the moment.
