PSA: If Google Play Store won't let you download Ecmdroid because you have a recent version of Android, you can download it at https://ecmdroid.en.aptoide.com/app and various other sites across the interwebs.
ECMDroid works on latest Android versions.

I'll throw something else out there about this. It doesn't appear that a HP Chromebook (which is Android) works with the Buelltooth dongle.
THIS IS MOST LIKELY NOT A BUELLTOOTH PROBLEM - I AM BLAMING THE CHROMEBOOK.
But if you have a Chromebook, and you are getting ready to purchase a Buelltooth, be aware of this.
Inexpensive tablets and phones can be found out there that should work fine with it. I've done that in the past.
If/when I figure out what is going on, I will post a solution.
The Chromebook does work with ECMDroid, though.
