I have a 09 cr with 8400 miles on it, bought it a few months ago and haven't had an issue until today, bout a few miles down the road I noticed my battery volts to start dropping followed by low battery light coming on and check engine light. when I got higher in to the revs everything acted as it should to build up juice (ranged from 12.7 - 14.1 like it always has for me) then came on again when revs dropped (11.6ish volts or so). I'm no expert so that's why I came for the real answers lol. does this sound like a stator problem? I have the " band-aid" harness update also. could I just have a bad battery? help me out lol

Test out the V/R and the stator as the manual states... I've read a lot of threads about these year model 1125's having really bad stator and regulator problems...

I would suggest going after the stator. Mine just went out. Even when I ohmed it out it seemed fine but when running the engine and checking output AC Voltage there was not enough to charge the battery. I ended up getting my stator re-wound and putting the ebr rotor and ce 605 sb regulator in. This seems to be the end all of charging issues on the 09 1125's.

does it state in the manual how to check v/r and stator out put? if not could you give me a quick run down on it?

Yes it does... It's in the electrical portion of it and it's easy to do ... I know how to do it on an XB but idk if the 1125 is different or not....
