I really like the tail, a lot. The muffler does stand out, a lot. Not sure why they didn't do a better job integrating it. The angle of the pic isn't very flattering to the fairings, I'll reserve opinion until better pics are available. Overall, the looks are promising. I never liked the looks of the 1125R, this RX seems to share some basic styling cues with that bike but seems to have smoothed out the areas I didn't care for.

I, too, am excited to see the SX. I'm also looking forward to the official release tomorrow. I'm curious to see what else EBR is unveiling.

Only one RX in the pic, it's the yellow one. The rest are RS models.

Nope, there's also a red RX next in line after the yellow one. If you look you can see the passenger seat and the tip of the black muffler extension, just like on the yellow one.

Leaving in a few to catch a flight to Orlando. Anyone who is going to be there can pm me if they want to meet up and chill. Will be there until Thursday.

If you look at the green bike in the background you will notice the resemblance to a Hero Splendor iSmart.

interesting...

"EBR 1190 RX - 1190 cc V-twin - capable of developing 175 hp at 9,750 rev / min and 131 Nm of torque at 9,400 rev / min.

The Erik Buell Racing have informed the 1190RX will be followed by two other new models, already announced, they will use its own engine-chassis package: the naked 'SX' and crossover 'AX'."
found this on an Italian website...

does this mean that the SX and AX wont use the EBR/Rotax collaborated engine?

#3: a Ducati panigale cruised down my street the other day.. (actually heard it before I saw it) the EBR RX is going to look and sound just as good, if not better.. for half the price!

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Buell's. But the odds of THAT happening is very minuscule indeed. The 1199 (IMO) is the best looking Duc since the original 916 and that bike changed the look of ALL sportbikes to come after it. The 1199's taillights, the exhaust, mouthwatering. That is one amazing bike.

See!
(AAAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

all of which was copied from Erik Buell's XB designs.

wait for some proper pics and colors available and then make your choice, $35k for a Duc or $18k for an EBR.

i know which one i will choose.

Well, unfortunately I don't have $35k OR $18k in my piggybank. So I'll just have to salivate over them both I guess.

Overall I think bike is great. Nothing surprising and, yes, I wouldn't mind seeing it in person and taking it out for a test ride to form a better opinion.

The only thing that I'm not sold on is the front fairing; the headlight to be specific. It looks like a fancy Ninja headlight. But aside from that... well done EBR. [up]

looks just like the RS, some slight changes in the fairings, different headlight, mirrors and exhaust....@ $18,995.00

still looks pretty damn sweet[up]
