Erik may not be bitter toward HD, but I sure as hell am.
I've never felt so **** on by an American company. I think this recession has just spot-lighted how poorly businesses are managed in this country. Buell isn't the only brand to be thrown to the dogs so that management could keep investers on board. It's a short-term solution when you don't have a long-term strategy.

Can't wait for him to find a company that will support and let him go forward with this ideas.

I find it interesting that when he was asked about partnering or working with bombardier he just simply said "I cant talk about that" possibly a "wink wink"??

Anyone know what Erik rides most of the time?

I believe he rides a CityX 9, I remember in a interview a few years ago he mentioned he owns one. Just makes sense to go with Bombardier. Dealer network, Motors, small parts buying power = better price points. I think is will all come down to control, and how much Erik will have. I rode my buddies Can-Am Outlander and that thing is sweet.

Was at a CanAm dealer friday and the owner commented on my Buell and stated that the dealer network had been told that Bombodier/ Can Am was indicating a producing a traditional motorcycle and that Erik Buells name had been mentioned as the guy responsible. Don't know the accuracy though . Makes you wonder!

Did anyone notice?... wandell didn't even inform Erik of the Buell shutdown in october 09 himself, he(Erik)learned of the news many days later from other sources, so the article states... I am APPALLED at this! it takes integrity and balls to approach a fellow business partner/employee and say, "well bud, this is how it is" of which wandell has neither.... To think of all the good peeps that work for the brass at HD(spit), how can they respect... Rant over, I'm done
