Also ... when I was referring to heating up the stud earlier in here ... I've had success freeing up stuck bearing races and the occasional stud from heating them up to expand them slightly inside of whatever they're in and either break or crush the corrosion inside of wherever they are to help the penetrating oil make it in there and do it's job ... I think mine got mistook as "heat it up and try to take it out while it's still hot" ... JetLee was right on the money with what he said tho ... [up]
