Out of curiosity, has anyone ever mounted a Firebolt fairing to an XB9S? Or, can it even easily be done?

I've seen a few. Don't think it's horribly hard to do. I'd like to try it someday, because I think it looks great with the short lightning tail, and I've never gotten to try a bike with a fairing before. You'll need the fairing, windscreen, mounting bracket, and headlights. I think that's everything. You'll need new mirrors unless you already have bar end mirrors.

I am actualy in the middle of that right now. So far so good. The headlight connection needs to be switched from a male to a female and there is a bitch of a bolt holding on the ignition (t45 temper proof torque bit- retarded design).

I plan on doing a diy thread with tons of pics a write up and all the parts needed when I'm done.

Did you find somewhere online to buy the other connector, can you piece something together with some random connectors, or did you have to pull the connector off of another headlight??

Havnt done it yet but the plan is to just swap the two headlights connectors. From doing the dual headlight mod I know the wires can be pulled.
The colors of the wires match up so I'm hoping this will work.
