All good things must come to an end even if we dont want it to.... Farewell Mythbusters you will forever be my favorite show.......You were with me from my11th grade year, my high school sweetheart, prom, you waited on me to finish boot camp and return from Iraq, carried me through my daughter's birth almost nine years ago and gave her something to watch with daddy " take that Mickey mouse", then you showed me that things could be more destructive than my son that's about to turn three, you've had Buell motorcycles on your show "which I also ride", you've entertained me through my lows and highs, and ironically enough I got a job with a federal agency that you all tested myths for on Alcatraz "the Federal Bureau of Prisons" while there was a myth I wanted you to test I could never bring myself to get social media to submit it. Had I known the show would one day end I might have brought myself to get Facebook........I will miss you Adam, Jamie, Kari, Tory, Grant, and Buster but I will never miss an episode!!!!!!!!!

Yup. I'll miss it too. I can't believe it's been 14 years. I remember the first episode where they strapped those huge JATO rockets to the roof of an old Impala and lit em up following it in a helo. Frickin awesome. I've been a fan since. It was the best series ever. Especially with all the crap that's on TV now days.

Those guys had a genuine love for what they did and it showed. There was no need to "fluff" it up with tension and drama like all the other crap that's on. They came across as honestly enjoying what they did and couldn't believe they were getting paid to do it. I will miss new episodes for sure, but will probably watch all the old ones many more times.

The last episode was great. The "reunion" show was really great too. Maybe it will come back in some form. It seemed to be popular.
