So, after months of this guy being wishy-washy about selling his bike. He finally tells me yesterday that he's ready to sell his 07 XB12Scg. He has been talking about it since June, or maybe even before. So, he should be picking me up in a few minutes to go pick it up.
I'm so excited right now. I miss riding so much, and I already rode that Buell, and it rides great!!

Pics will follow soon!!!
Wish me luck!

Finally got it. I wish I could tell you guys how I feel. I miss riding so much, and this was just excellent. I will post pics in a few

sweet looking bike. I really like the color combination! Any plans with the bike?

well, Burton. I will probably change the color of the airbox and front wind deflector. I want them black. I will need to get a better exhaust (I don't know if I'm going to mod it myself, or buy an aftermarket exhaust), probably a power commander in my future. I don't want to go crazy with it. I like the way it rides, and I don't want to make it too much different. It's the CG bike, so it's pretty good around the twisties.

Sweet! How much did you get it for? you should wrap the headers and get some bar end mirrors. I love that look.

If you change the color of the plastics, please don't paint them. Swap them out. There's only so many OEM translucent pieces out there.

Victor, that is a good point. I never thought about that.

And Burton,

It's a 07 with 6700 miles. If I told you I paid 2k for it, what would you say? And the helmet and gloves are included

I'd say check the vin with your local DMV! Jk! Congrats!

It's stolen... or has some issues... :D:D:D

But jokes aside. For that price it's a steal! Congrats!

My buddy and I are both military, and it's been his since day one. So I trust it's not stolen, I understand that it almost seems too good to be true. But, for now, I
M just happy as hell to ride!

Hey you can get a pipe from a number of places when your ready. First there are lots of pipes here for sale all the time if you keep your eyes out, they go fast but they guys here are honorable so if you say you want it first you get dibs. You can find Drummer pipes, and D&Ds and used of course. You can also buy a Hawk Performance pipe. Just like a lot of the others a Hawk pipe is a modded stock pipe, so what the guy does at Hawk Performance pipes is you can work it out to where he will send you a completed pipe first so you can put it on and then send yours back so you don't have a long down time where you cant ride, and his pipes are nice and they sound good. Just depends on what your looking for. You can find a link to hawk pipes here somewhere.

If im not mistaken the guy that does hawk pipes will also do a tail mod for free if you send it with your pipe. A tail mode is where they shorten the long thing that sticks out on the lightings, everyone calls it a cheese grater. This is what i have heard.
