So I got a socket this morning, took off the mount, and hooked it up to the new m/c. It fit, but barely. Bled it through, got pressure, then discovered that when I test mounted it the lever was mounted wrong and now it won't fit with the fairing stay there. So I had to take it off, put the old m/c back on, then bleed that. I left the fluid in the lines this time and was able to get pressure back in the old m/c. Then I noticed I had put the lines on backwards and had to do it all over again.

Pain in the ass.

Guess the zx m/c won't fit on the bolt after all...all that work for nothing

The back part where it connects to the m/c at the pivot.

If I go all the way to full lock it depresses the lever a good ways.

Well that blows, but thanks for sharing that info as it could save other R owners some trouble in the future. Sorry you had to find out the hard way.
