First ride in 2 years!!

I just took my 05 xb9r out for the first time in 2 years! I had forgotten how much fun that bike is. I just finished rebuilding it a couple days ago. Some jerk decided to steal it from me almost 2 years ago. Then he was smart enough to post it on craigslist for sale with no keys and no title...lol. So i got the bike back a couple months ago and frantically rebuilt it for the summer. I am lucky this guy was so stupid to try and sell it like that!

Thanks guys! I was so happy to get the bike back!
The guy got charges with felony theft and i turned in all of my restitution paperwork for almost 7 grand, i took the bike to harley and had them do a salvage cost on what it would take for them to rebuild it. The guy posted bail and then never showed up for his next court date. He is still on the run! But when he gets caught he will pay lol

You said you had to have it rebuilt, what kind of condition did you get it back in?

The bike was completely stripped! It was pretty much just the engine frame and wheels left! They also broke my upper triple tree to get the ignition off. I am building a bracket to relocate it under the fuse box. i will post some pics when i finish it. So pretty much everything on the bike is new or bought off ebay. Right now the bike is 2 tone white and black, my tattoo guy and i are going to airbrush all the plastics in the next month!
