Not a good first ride.... First I had to replace the battery $65. No big deal. Then I get about 2 miles from my house, go to grab second gear and *snap*, there goes my clutch cable $40. The kicker is that the stealership (Greatlakes HD in Bay City, MI) has to order it and it will take 10 days...so much for an early spring ride.[confused]:(

Bummer, that sucks! It was a nice day today (I'm closer to Flint) but I didn't bring the bike out...something about St. Patrick's Day and riding makes me paranoid. lol.

Dude, I had the same exact thing happen. My clutch cable snapped, 10 days to repair. The gears got stuck and skidded to a stop. Very scary. I was told this was uncommon for the clutch cable to snap. Maybe not....
The worst part is we are having great weather here in WI and i can't ride it this week, really bummed out after waiting all winter.

Here's a little ray of sunshine. Had a great first ride of the year! The sun was shining, the roads were clear of sand, rocks and other stuff( mostly:p). The bike ran great and I'm still grinning and heart's still skipping. The mods I did to the girl turned out well and I didn't get pulled over by the cops.:D[up]. It was a great start to a new season.
