Fitting Akrapovic on xb12

Right now I have a jardine rt1 on my xb12r. And since akrap doesn't make buell exhausts, I was thinking, since the jardine comes with all the hardware, why not keep the bend pipe and just slip on a..let's say the R6 slip on which looks similar to the jardine muffler, and use the hangar that came with the jardine? Seems plausible.

Absolutely go for it, ANYTHING can be done w metal. You may have to expand the elbow to fit the new can or vice versa, have to make a reducer......post pics when you're done
