Flat tire screwed my ride!

Was having a great ride today with my buddy that bought a new Duc 848, then noticed something wasnt quite right. passed an amish buggy and had to pull over and let him pass right back by. Goddamn flat rear tire. Sat by a cornfield for 2 1/2 hours while my buddy rode home to get his truck to haul my ass home. Good news is I get to buy those new tires I've had my eye on for a while, bad news its supposed to snow next week here in Ohio. Here's a pic of what I got to watch for hours while I waited. I guess it could have been worse, I noticed it before I wiped out around a corner!

EBay works for me when it comes to tires. Why I always carry some tire plugs. All u gotta do then is find air. Its not the best tire saving solution unless u have the plug with the patch that installs inside out (I usually get these off the snap-on truck for $10) but it can save u from a spoiled ride and/or get u home. Just a cheap $5 plug kit is all u really need.

Def won't leave home without a repair kit from now on, lesson learned. GoPro is just mounted on my signal post. Worked out pretty good.

The blinker does not acted like a spring board?

I have it mounted on the rigid part of the turn signal, before the springy part, using I guess the helmet mount with the foam doube sided sticky tape it forms to the post, then I zip tie it on both sides to snug it down so it doesnt move at all. It was my first attempt, so I thought it would maybe be too bouncy, but it wasnt.
