Hello all, just picked up an 05 Firebolt on Sunday, looking forward to putting some miles on it. I usually dont keep bikes very long, and this is my 1st buell, but something tells me I will keep this one for a while :D My last bike was a Ducati Monster 900, and was like a sowing machine compaired to this jackhammer! I will take some better pics soon, heres the one I took when I 1st got it home:

Also have a cluttered garage full of dirtbikes and bicycles, prefer KTM 2 strokes for woods riding and a KLR 650 that my oldest son swiped from me!

Nice Buell and stable TXsandman! Welcome!

I'm a fan of the red/amber combo! If you ever make it up towards Dallas, there are a few of us up here that'll ride with you!

OF COURSE !!!!

i grew up in Alvin my whole life. i was even blessed to play at Nolan Ryan field when i was in high school.

aaahhh, good ol Alvin Yellowjackets.

Nolan Ryan sponsored our field - such a beautiful place to catch a baseball game....

you wouldn't believe me if i told you, but i played tennis and swam in Nolan Ryan's pool back when i was a junior in 1997 HAHA !!!!

my best friend's mom was his maid that watched his house year round while he was gone.

single greatest sports related thing that i have ever experienced was walking into his house and standing in front of his trophy case.

it was like being at the Hall of Fame.

he had balls signed by babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb, etc.

he had baseball bats, gloves and cleats signed by Yogi Bera, Jackie Robinson and all kinds of stuff.

his 5K strikeout ball was in there and all of his 7 no hitters were proudly displayed behind this glass case about 20 feet long.

p.s.
for proof, i can actually post a pic of myself hitting a tennis ball on his tennis courts HAHA !!!!

Welcome!! I'm on SA. Love the red/black and gold. That's the look of bolt that inspired me to get one.
