Anyone have any experience with Ohlins fork oil? I'm need to buy some oil. I'm leaning toward the Ohlins #5...which equates to 10w.

Our manual calls for Type E...which is HD specific and from what I can gather is equal to 10w.

What are you guys using?

I haven't changed mine yet but I got some Amsoil STM which is equivalent to 10wt. They make one that is 5wt but I'm going to stick with the stock wt.
I'm also thinking about putting in the progressive rate springs while I'm in there.

I have been putting off doing the fork oil because I'm not sure what tools I need;can anyone help?

I need to do mine. I have a fork with a slow leak. I've downloaded the manual and need to buy seals and oil. I'm going with the recomended hd oil. My buddy owns a shop and think ill go to his house and do it there.

Just download from this website. There are tools required that don't allow the ordinary man to do it urtself.
