forum pop ups?

why all the sudden am I getting a bunch of pop ups every page I click on on this forum? It's only on this forum.

having the same issue with the pop ups, although I have an ad blocker, they are still popping up[mad]

no idea....very frustrating. clicking on links takes me to random links (such as old navy and other things). Kind of afraid to do anything right now....don't want passwords stolen or anything. Damn malware and ****

Better run that antivirus and delete that porn...

On s serious note a free program I use is called ccleaner to delete old unnecessary files. malware-bytes is good for spam crap. That should keep your internet browsing clean. Run your antivirus and see if it finds anything.

Think part of the reason for it is Google Chrome and the dreaded doubleclick ****. When I log onto the forum and then go to a particular thread, the username and password block appear again like I never logged on. And the pop ups continue[mad]

gonna dump Chrome altogether along with Google...may have to go with dog pile or explorer, then again explorer uses Bing (Because it's not Google)

Comodo dragon is a decent browser. Based on chrome architecture , but more secure

Mozilla Firefox is popular as well

Don't know, I have avg and malware bytes. Ran a scan on both and still popups on this forum and clicking links takes me elsewhere. All on this forum only.

Delete all your temporary files. Ccleaner (with two C's) is good for that.

i cant afford mac lol. dont really like them. To be honest I'd love to just chuck my current laptop out the window. But paying bills, shopping on amazon, etc is just so convenient online...

i have avg, i think whatever i have is related to this forum as it's only happening on this forum, everything else is fine. my buddy is really good with computers he can just log in remotely and fix it he did that for me in the past once on my old laptop when i got a virus from an email link(stupid me).

I second CC cleaner. I run Google chrome with Adblock Plus and Lastpass add-ons. I will never run anything else again. My webpages auto login and I block all popups and advertising. It is awesome! You never realize how much advertising there is till I saw so much white space on web pages now! LOL. Now if I could just figure out how to bypass ad videos on youtube and play the videos directly. Its sad but I wouldn't go to such extreme measures if advertising wasn't so in your face now a days. Oh not to mention those news articles that are broken down into 10 web pages. I don't even bother reading them anymore. Too annoying.
